35 Years of Ministry
How We Got Started
Wayside Baptist Church was founded July 21, 1985 with 45 members and met in some members homes until they could rent the Alsop School building. Land was donated and a building was erected and in 1990 they moved into the present location on Canal Dr.
Our Pastor
Pastor Paul Mitchell and his wife, Donna, have been with Wayside since February 2008.
Our Mission
Our church mission is “A Church With A Compassion For God’s Great Commission.” We sincerely desire to reach our community with the love of Jesus Christ!

Missions is a part of the heart-beat of our church. We praise the Lord for the opportunity to support many missionaries and mission projects around the world.
